Start Living The Life
You Deserve

Learn the art of self-healing to make peace with your past, identify your patterns, and start living a life you love

You have the power to heal yourself

Do you lie awake at night thinking about how your whole life could be different if you could just … Stop feeling shame? Quit losing your temper? Forgive your parents? Stop feeling resentful? Know how to handle your triggers? Feel like you’re finally “good enough”?

What if I told you that your whole life can be different; that you can disrupt the cycles of stress, anxiety, worthlessness, and emotional reactivity — that you can live a life where you experience self-compassion, connectedness, love, confidence, peace, and joy? A life where you can discover “the real you” and become the loving, worthy, happy person you’ve always wished to be.

And what if I told you that everything you need to heal and live a life you love is already inside you?

Well, having all the ingredients doesn’t mean you know the recipe. Having a car doesn’t mean you have a roadmap to where you want to be.

When you’re ready, my proven 12-lesson program, The Art of Self-Healing (TASH), is here to help you finally feel whole, so you can leave shame, regret, and pain behind — and start living the life you’ve always wanted.

But through my own trial and error (a lot of it), I’ve worked out the recipe. I’ve charted the territory — and I’ve got the badass map of personal growth & development to get you where you want to go.

Professionally, I know the science of how to heal. But personally? That’s where I learned it as an art. I know firsthand how bleak and isolating it can be to suffer under the weight of resentment, depression, and self-loathing.

That’s why I created this course — I was on autopilot for way too long, sleepwalking my way through life, people-pleasing, perfectionsim, wondering if I would always feel empty, broken, and powerless to change. The pain almost suffocated me…and in my darkest days, not being here anymore felt like a better option.

I don’t want anyone else to go through that. That’s why over the last 20 years, I’ve done the work — both personally and professionally — to figure out how we can heal ourselves, release our past, and live a joyful life. I simply want to give you the map to your freedom.

I promise you: There’s a better life out there, and you deserve it. And you have the power to create it because YOU are the expert on you.

We can’t wave a magic wand and make our past disappear, but we can identify our behaviors and patterns to open the door to a new way of being and a new way of seeing. I call self-healing an art because art is all about self-expression.

How you heal is a combination of understanding the science of the body, and the art of expressing that knowledge.

Unlike science, art doesn’t need a theory or process to exist; it doesn’t need proof or rigid requirements. We all can decide what we deem as art, and we can each choose what is right for us as we heal.

The way I see it, this program is me handing you all the supplies you need — paintbrushes, pencils, ink, clay, scissors, glue, and paper.

But you get to decide what amazing, beautiful, messy masterpiece to make.

If you’re willing to be curious about yourself, acknowledge your blind spots, and trust that there’s a rich, beautiful life ahead, my program is waiting for you. And it’s built to support you, with resources like journal prompts, reflection questions, done-for-you cheat sheets, monthly calls with me, and access to an entire community of folks who are on the same self-healing journey of personal growth & development.

Life doesn’t have to be this hard — and you don't have to suffer.

Let me show you the roadmap to living a life you love.

A Different Approach
To Self-Healing

Whether you’ve read every self-help book out there, tried therapy, or just want to add to your mental health toolkit, you’re probably here because nothing has quite worked — or you’re hungry for more.

That’s because self-healing is a skill, and there’s no shortcut to “doing the work.”

Learning to unpack your emotional baggage head-on and develop self-compassion is an art, and it requires an understanding of yourself and the forces that shaped who you are today.

But in 12 lessons, TASH will help you on your self-healing journey with trusted strategies, tools, and techniques that provide a rock-solid foundation for getting through whatever life throws at you.

The best part? You don’t have to spend years in — and thousands of dollars on — therapy.

Here’s why The Art of Self-Healing is the best investment you'll make in yourself this year

1. TASH is risk-free

We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for this program because we believe the risks in not taking this course are far greater than taking action. When we don’t heal our past, we continue experiencing suffering in various ways: painful relationships filled with resentment, perpetually feeling stuck and dissatisfied with life, emptiness, and aggression toward ourselves or others.

2. Personal growth & development, built on clinical research

I’m a qualified clinical psychotherapist, counselor, and speaker who has focused on anxiety and trauma-related issues with adults and children across my 20 year+ career. I also play the guinea pig in my own research and will never teach anything I haven’t tried myself. This program brings together what I’ve seen work both in my own life and the lives of my clients.

3. The course is accessible and flexible for busy schedules

As a working mother of two, I know exactly what it means to ask you to dedicate your valuable time to this program.

That’s why I designed TASH to be a flexible, comprehensive, and effective solution where YOU dictate the pace.

Learn the content any time… it’s yours for life. PLUS, you have a whole YEAR of monthly calls where you can submit questions for me to answer, so there’s absolutely NO RUSH!

This supportive program is built to keep you on track and expand your learning on a step-by-step path.

4. You'll have direct access to me and a supportive community of peers

No one should have to process their past alone, and I wholly believe in the power of healing together. When each Q&A call is scheduled, you’ll receive an email with details of how to register.

These sessions help you clear up any questions or ask specifics about your particular situation (nothing is off-limits, and you can remain anonymous if you wish).

You’ll receive the support you need to actually implement your learnings. Many students have also told me they enjoy the momentum, community, and accountability these calls provide.

5. Self-healing is a skill you take with you

Over the course of 12 lessons, you’ll learn techniques, tools, and tips for identifying your patterns, changing your behaviors, and shifting your perspective that will last a lifetime.

Tackling the stuff from our past is painful, but once you develop the skills to navigate challenges, understand and regulate your emotions, you’ll build confidence to face any adversity.

6. Resilience is not impressive - learning to evolve mental wellness is

Resilience was forced on many of us, and it’s usually built on trauma and suffering. A lot of people describe themselves as “resilient” but are totally disconnected from their emotional world and the sensations in their body.

TASH teaches a new kind of resilience that isn’t based on your thoughts or your past. Self-healing gets to the core of the wound, helping you evolve mental wellness and grow from the inside out. The resilience we build is a deep connection between our emotions, our body, and our mind

The Blueprint For Your Self-Healing Journey

  • Why we are doing this?
  • How change happens
  • How perception impacts us
  • An overview of what’s inside TASH
  • The main purpose and objective of this program

Lesson 2 – Self-compassion and self-care

Learn why self-compassion reduces suffering in life and how you can begin practicing it today.

  • Why shame and judgement keep you ‘stuck’.
  • How to understand and work with your inner critic.
  • The tools you need to practice self-compassion and evolve mental wellness daily.
  • How to begin the process of self-healing to reduce suffering in your life.
  • The core components to self-care and how to make it a regular part of your life.
  • Discover the roadblocks to self-care and learn what to do instead.

Lesson 3 – How our brain is wired (and how it impacts us)

Explore everything you need to know about the brain so you can better understand why you are the way you are, and how our life experiences impact our brain development and nervous system.

  • Key parts of the brain and their functions.
  • Brainwaves and how they change throughout our development.
  • Understanding the teenage brain and how your adolescence impacted you.
  • Polyvagal Theory.
  • Temperament traits and how you ‘came out’.
  • How thoughts, memories and emotions work together.
  • The identity gap: how we appear and who we really are.

Lesson 4 – Shame and the stories it tells

Shame is one of those things that nobody likes to talk about, a lot of us shame others, shame ourselves, and experience it often… but most of us don’t realize how much it impacts us.

  • Expanding our self-worth to balance mental wellness.
  • Shame stories and how to identify them.
  • How we can respond to shame.
  • Values.
  • Perfectionism and how to recover from it.
  • Shame regulation skills.

Lesson 5 – Unpacking our past

In this lesson, we’ll go back in time and start to look at the foundations of ourselves and our family of origin.

  • How my needs were met / not met as a child.
  • Where I sit in privilege.
  • What stress looked like for me growing up.
  • What I was taught about how to regulate my body and emotions.
  • The emotional climate of my home (past and present).
  • My wiring: neurology, default, unique temperament.
  • The role of discipline in my house growing up.
  • My lived experiences after childhood.

Lesson 6 – All the different parts of ourselves

Learn all about our internal parts, the roles we serve, and all the competing ‘voices’ in our mind.

  • ‘The Boardroom’ analogy – an exploration of all our separate parts and who tends to dictate the internal thoughts.
  • People pleasing: why we do it and how to stop.
  • Why we get triggered and how to support ourselves.

Lesson 7 – Emotional regulation

Dive deep into emotional literacy, how it’s developed and why it’s so important for us to regulate… and understand why it can be so hard.

  • Emotional maps – What does the map your parents gave you look like? Does it match the one you’d choose to work with today? Review and develop your emotional map.
  • Emotional regulation in adults – “I hate it when I get upset or cry, but I don’t know what else to do!” … learn how to feel your feelings rather than suppress them.
  • Ways to calm the Vagus Nerve.
  • Procrastination and other common ways we try to manage our emotions.

Lesson 8 – Trauma

Heidi’s speciality and an area that impacts everyone: trauma.  Learn everything you need to know about trauma, how to understand it and how to process it.

  • What trauma is… and what it isn’t.
  • How the brain and body are impacted by trauma.
  • What we can do for ourselves when trauma happens.
  • Trauma processing techniques.
  • Medical trauma: preparation and recovery.
  • Self-limiting beliefs.

Lesson 9 – Unlocking myself and creating the future

As we embark on the last 4 lessons, we begin to look towards the future and discover what stories we’ve been telling ourselves, what patterns we run, and how both those topics can help us design the future we’ve dreamed of.

  • How to buildy our confidence.
  • Answering your self-esteem questions.
  • Identifying your patterns.
  • Getting clear on what you want you values to be.
  • Purpose, personal growth & development.

The two A’s (according to Heidi!)… these two emotions tend to have the biggest impact on our lives. Learn all about anger and anxiety and how to calm the fire within.

  • Introduction to anger – Build a solid understanding of anger’s origin, how to treat it, and practical strategies you can immediately implement.
  • Anger and its two BFFs – Which emotions does anger like to hang out with? Learn what they are and spot the anger warning signs before they spiral out of control.
  • Effectively managing anger – Uncover a series of practical methods to manage and understand your anger.
  • PAST – Where does anxiety come from? Learn how our upbringing impacts the way we manage our own anxiety.
  • PRESENT – Why do we have anxiety, what does it look like, and what’s the relationship between genetics and anxiety.
  • FUTURE – What can I do about it? Empower yourself with practical tools and strategies to help manage your anxiety.

Lesson 11 – Our relationship with others

Unpack the most common pitfalls we encounter with others.

  • Communication 101.
  • How to be a good listener.
  • Navigating relationships.
  • Connection.
  • Boundaries.

Lesson 12 – Now what? Where to from here?

As we end our time together, lets consolidate everything we’ve learned and create a framework for our future.

  • LIGHTHOUSE framework.
  •  The 5 C’s of focus.
  • How to maintain momentum.

Frequently Asked Questions

Have a question before beginning your self-healing journey?

Below is a list of questions we’re commonly asked about TASH, personal growth & development, and ways to evolve mental wellness. If you don’t see yours here, reach out to our team at support [AT] heidirogers.com.au so we can assist you.

TASH is a digital video training program focused on the art of self-healing that is supported by monthly Q&A calls. When you join, your purchase includes instant access ALL 12 lessons, expert masterclasses, templates, worksheets and community. Once your order is complete, we’ll send you an email immediately with your login details.

My programs are based on over 20 years of experience; academic research; evidence-based, peer-reviewed journal articles; and trial-and-error. I only teach what I’ve tried myself or what I’ve seen proven to work for clients, and I created TASH to share my knowledge so that others don’t have to suffer any longer. I believe TASH will work for you for three reasons:

  1. When you come in with curiosity and openness to self-reflection, and acknowledgment of your blind spots (a vital mindset for this program!), you’ve already done a huge portion of the hard work. Those qualities make it so much easier to dive in.
  2. Consistency, consistency, consistency. I don’t teach “silver bullet” fixes you practice for one day and leave for the next 30. To achieve results, you’ll need to consistently apply your learnings — and if you put in the time, you will get the results you want.
  3. This isn’t a cookie-cutter program. Your situation is unique — you are unique — and TASH teaches the art of self-healing through proven strategies, which we then tweak based on the vision you’ve created for yourself and your needs.

TASH is provided for informational purposes and is designed to help students identify and change unhealthy patterns in their lives, learn self-compassion, and heal from the inside out. I’m giving you the art supplies; you create the masterpiece. It is not therapy and shouldn’t be used as a replacement for therapy. For more information, see the TASH Terms.

Technically, this isn’t a question, but it is a statement I hear a lot. And I have two things to say to people who feel “talking about stuff” isn’t for them:

  1. Sure, you don’t need to talk — but have you tried talking to yourself? Many of us grew up with parents who told us to “suck it up,” “grin and bear it,” or some other adage that insinuates we should stuff our feelings down and pretend we’re fine. But that hasn’t worked, has it? We all have blind spots and beliefs about ourselves that we don’t even realize are dysfunctional, unhealthy, or holding us back; so how are you supposed to fix something you can’t even see? Most of us have parts of ourselves we want to hide, reject, or abandon, and we stopped talking to these parts of ourselves decades ago. Learning how to talk to ourselves about ourselves can be a real game-changer. Verbalizing things can offer an “aha moment” into what’s really going on.
  2. You’re right, not everyone needs to talk. That’s why there are so many forms of therapy out there that aren’t talk therapy. For many people, self-healing happens by changing your perspective, shifting the way you relate to yourself, and learning new skills — and that can all be taught, no “talking about stuff” required.

Welcome back! I’m so glad you’re here.

Although in TPT we do focus on some elements of self, it is heavily centered around our relationship with our children, and how we can be better parents. TASH is a wonderful next step if you’ve taken TPT, because you’ve already gained some insight into how and why you parent the way you do — now, you’ll dig deeper into how you can heal the wounds of your own childhood, identify your triggers, and ultimately become the parent you wanted when you were little.

Basically, when you heal yourself and learn how to meet your own needs, you won’t project your shit onto your kids or look to them to fill a void — and you can then model self-compassion and emotional regulation (the holy grail!). TASH also provides a space to focus on yourself outside of your identity as a parent and reconnect you back to who you are.

How much time are you spending right now dealing with emotional triggers and past pain? How often do you feel helpless to change, or hopeless?

There’s nothing more essential to a life of meaning and joy than engaging in self-compassion and unlearning the damaging stories you’ve been taught about who you are. If healing was quick and easy, therapists would be out of a job (and the world would be much less of a shitshow). But like all awesome things, meaningful stuff requires time, effort, and capacity. Maybe you feel you don’t have the capacity right now — you’re trying to picture where this program fits amid work, parenting, relationships, and mindlessly scrolling through social media. But I can promise you this program will actually increase your capacity and help you feel less overwhelmed when it’s done. Everything is recorded, so you can chip away at it when you feel ready. Also, once you are a TASH student, you are always a TASH student! You’re invited to attend any future rounds of TASH as a refresher or reset.

TASH is designed to be the antidote to overwhelm. It will help you clarify what changes you want to make in your life, then align your actions so you can see the big picture of your healing journey. I know how paralyzing it can feel to add something new to your schedule — that’s why I made the program so accessible, flexible, and supportive. It’s built to fit into your lifestyle; you can watch each module in order, or just pick the most pressing issues you’d like to tackle — you don’t have to watch every video or complete every worksheet for the program to be effective.

If you can commit just one to two hours each week to the training, you’ll immediately see a whole new level of growth. Participating in the Q&A calls will help you integrate your learnings even faster. Think about it this way: If you were going to the gym, you would need to drive there, park, do your workout, then drive home (and shower) — self-improvement always takes time and commitment. The more time you can dedicate to TASH, the more quickly you’ll see a positive shift in your life.

For the cost of less than five weeks of therapy, you’ll have me (literally) in your back pocket to help guide you through any questions as they arise during the program. In comparison, seeing me once a week for a single hour in the clinic comes to over $10,000 USD annually — and even then, you’d have to wait to ask any questions that pop up between sessions. That doesn’t happen when you have a community forum that I’m actively participating in. And, you’ll have the added peace of mind that anytime I run TASH in the future, you can join in again!

Once a student, always a student! Every time I run the course, you receive access to the content. So you can be a TASH student again and again, using the content as a refresher or a reset.

Many students approach me with a similar sentiment. And my answer is that unless you’re already living your best life and all your healing strategies are working for you (in which case you probably wouldn’t be here), TASH is perfect. No matter your situation, the course will provide the information you need to immediately begin making changes in your life.

And if, like most students, you find there are a lot of other strategies and mindset shifts you’d like to start applying for a more “whole self,” you can jump in on whatever topics pique your interest. Together, we can create a path toward a life you truly love.

No! The beauty of online learning is that only you need to know you’re a TASH student. There are no physical or time limitations, and it’s meant to be comfortable for you. Log in whenever you like, use a fake name, wear a disguise, or submit questions anonymously for Q&A calls if you like!

If you join TASH and don’t see positive changes in your life after applying the techniques and strategies covered for 7 days, we’ll refund you. Send us an email within your first 7 days of joining, and the admin team will help you out. I want there to be no risk whatsoever when you join the community.

For more information, see the TASH Terms.

Yes! I’ve got your back. You have three unique ways to get the support and feedback you need:

  1. The private, members-only Facebook community. This is your community. It’s the place to ask questions and get feedback about your self-healing challenges. You may be surprised how many other students have faced — and overcome — similar situations.
  2. The live Q&A calls. As a TASH student, you have access to live Q&A calls with me and the other course members. Any questions or clarifications can be directed to me by submitted your Qs ahead of calls. And the call replay library will expand over time, so whenever we run TASH in future, you get access to all the new information.
  3. My support team. Any technical issues about your membership (e.g., billing, login) will be addressed quickly by our support team. Send an email to [email protected] so we can assist you.
